SWP Management Consulting, LLC is a strategic and management-consulting firm headquartered in Wooster, Ohio. Steve Pool, Ph.D. is the principal and founder of the firm. Pool’s primary goal is assisting emerging companies grow by working closely with chief executives and multi-level managers. He provides seminars and consulting services for executives in management development and organizational strategy. The clients range from small to mid-sized firms in a broad range of industries in the United States. SWP Management Consulting has successfully supported profit and non-profit organizations in the public and private sectors in both manufacturing and service industries.

Dr. Pool in a full time faculty member at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio for twenty years. He teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business. His MBA classes included Strategic Management, Labor Relations, and Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership (Yale University), In the Doctorate Program, he instructs Organizational Development and Leadership.

Dr. Pool was Vice President of Human Resources for The Gerstenslager Co a subsidiary of Worthington Industries (Columbus, Ohio) for twelve years. His responsibilities included Labor Relations, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Development for its executives. This extensive business experience is a tremendous asset when working with clients and their requests.
